NAMI Glendale offers free education and and support for families who have relatives with mental illness. The program is a 12 week course starting very soon. Taught by trained family members, all materials are provided at no cost to you. The curriculum focuses on schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, panic disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). The course discusses the clinical treatment of these illnesses and teaches the knowledge and the skills that family members need to cope more effectively.
