Starting July 2005 information for non-life threatening
emergencies is available by dialing "211" on your phone. The
operator can give you the local numbers of any social services in your
area. Of course you should call "911" whenever the situation
demands urgent response.
This is a compiled list of phone numbers as of February 2006 and
NAMI does not guarantee its accuracy, but we believe these are the correct
numbers to dial.
